Date: June 20, 2021Location: Yemen – Abyan GovernorateDescription:The "Together We Rise" Foundation for Women and Child Care implemented a project to improve the health level in Abyan Governorate, in partnership with the Alif Baa Foundation for Civil Peace and Coexistence, as part of the "Women Confronting COVID-19" project. This was supported by UN Women and funded by the Women, Peace, and Humanitarian Action Fund. Objectives: Rehabilitation and restoration of the health unit in the Al-Darajaj area to provide medical services to the local population. Raising community awareness about the COVID-19 virus and its prevention. Enhancing the health unit's capacity to deliver essential services in the area.

Livelihood Improvement Project

Date: March 20, 2021 Location: Yemen – Abyan Governorate Description: The Together We Rise Foundation for Women and Child Care implemented a livelihood improvement project under the auspices of the Emergency Fund for Women's Rights Organization to achieve economic empowerment for affected families with limited income, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Objectives: Prepare a database of affected families. Enhance the capacities of the target group in the field of economic empowerment to achieve inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Raise community awareness regarding women's rights. Provide livestock to targeted families with limited income.
